A wonderful villa set in a fairytale location. The house, with a swimming pool and a well-kept huge garden, goes beyond expectations. In addition to playing golf, it was very nice to spend a day at home with the family barbecuing around the pool. House equipped with any comfort and very clean. Filippo, the manager, has been punctual and helpful.

Stayed here for a week with mates, superb location with plenty to do. We did some lovely scenic cycling routes in Umbria and Toscana with good quality rental bikes from a local bike shop. The Antognolla GC is 2 mins away, outstanding and challenging course, playing a round isn’t enough. For some less strenuous activity, there are nearby hilltop towns of Perugia, Cortona, Montalcino and the area around Lake Trasimeno that’s worth exploring. The city of Florence is also within easy reach. The villa is well equipped to keep families or friends entertained. Would definitely recommend this place as a venue to gather for some connection time.

Our stay at Villa Cappane was fantastic! The spacious layout was perfect for our extended family, with both privacy and beautiful communal areas for gatherings. Surrounded by beautiful villages we enjoyed exploring local charm and cuisine. Overall it was a memorable stay and we can’t wait to return.

Our stay at Villa Capanne was perfection. The villa is absolutely charming, with the most spectacular view, which immediately made us feel relaxed. The gardens are glorious, the pool heavenly after a day of exploring and the ability to stroll to the golf course and the club (where we had an incredible dinner one night) was fabulous. The location is also great as you can easily drive to several towns for sightseeing including Asissi, Cortona or Florence; however the highlight for us was always returning to the villa for antipasti and an Aperol Spritz and a swim under the stars. The comfort and cosiness of the villa made us feel like we were staying with friends and the changing view thru the day (sunrise and sunsets were gorgeous) means we can’t wait to come back. Cannot recommend it highly enough! As someone who works in travel and has stayed all over the world, Villa Capanne will stay in my memory as somewhere very special!

Great house in the middle of the forest , with magnificent views on the golf course. 25 min to Perugia, direct access to the golf course , restaurant is in 5 min by car open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with great local food.
House is very warm, comfortable beds, kitchen have everything to cook, snooker table and table tennis.
Loved fireplace in the main bedroom during cold nights.
We will return for sure.

The best air bnb, I have ever stayed at! We chose Villa Capanne for our pre wedding week and it was perfect for just that. This place is extremely well equipped, looked after and beautiful. The hosts are nothing but kind, flexible and accommodating. We can't wait to go back. Thanks so much for having us guys!

A birthday to remember!!!!!!!! Very hard to put into words how fantastic this villa is. Double celebration..my 60th and two 50ths! The main villa is so spacious and each of the four huge bedrooms has its own ensuite. The smaller villa, with two bedrooms offered the same. We explored the surrounding areas during the day and came back for some chill time around the pool with a few wines. I dealt with Chrissie leading up to our arrival who was always quick to reply and nothing was a problem. Upon arrival we met David who was amazing. Nothing was any trouble and he was always quick to reply. We had an amazing lunch at a local winery they manage, with a great tour included. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Super lux villa in an extremely beautiful and quiet location. Lots of places nearby to visit, including the winery, golf course, and ancient towns a short drive away.

The views are simply breathtaking as you sit back and relax by the poolside or in the garden! The accommodation is absolutely charming and beautifully decorated. Overcrowding is not a concern as there is plenty of room to accomodate large groups without loosing the intimate feeling of holidaying with friends or family. The accommodation was exceptional and everyone had plenty of space. We enjoyed day trips from this area, exploring lovely villages, eating sumptuous local produce, and beautiful country drives. We have stayed here with 2 other families twice and it is such a special, well appointed and beautiful villa in a great location. Villa Capanne has everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. Amazing views of the golf course toward the castle, fabulous pool/outdoor area and plenty of room inside to either sit by the large fireplace or play billiards upstairs. All of the bedrooms/bathrooms are spacious and charming. The kitchen/dining area is extremely well equipped and we cooked almost all our evening meals at the villa. The location is superb. Set in the rolling hills of Umbria yet still so close to do a variety of day trips to charming towns such as Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Sienna etc.. I would highly recommend Villa Capanne and we will definitely be back for a 3rd stay.

Villa Capanne is a warmly comfortable yet elegant villa in the most stunning location in Umbria. We have had the opportunity to stay there with another two families, accomodating 10 of us perfectly. The villa is restored to its unique and original beauty as well as being well maintained to more modern standards, equipped with AC, a stunning swimming pool with outdoor furniture and fabulous kitchen and BBQ cooking facilities. The grounds are magnificent, dotted with dozens of hundred year old olive trees and lush lawn for playing bocce or perhaps even making a snowman in winter!
